Sport Variety Boosts Health and Strength

Exposure to a variety of sports promotes better health and supports long-term strength development. A recent study by Harvard researchers found that exercise variety, not just exercise volume, is associated with a lower risk of premature mortality. Additionally, an earlier study suggests that novelty—or variety in training—is important for stimulating continued strength development.
