Terms of Use

Last updated: Jan 31, 2026
Effective Date: Jan 31, 2026

By accessing or using nlite (the Platform), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use:

1. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are located in the EU, you must be at least 16 unless parental consent is provided.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your account’s activity.
  • Do not share your password or allow others to access your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post illegal, abusive, hateful, or misleading content
  • Harass or bully other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the platform. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely as needed to operate and improve the platform — always in accordance with your selected visibility settings and anonymity preferences.

You are solely responsible for your content and any harm resulting from it.

5. Moderation and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines
  • Restrict or terminate accounts engaged in repeated or egregious violations

6. Platform Identifiers

  • Platform Identifiers refer to any handles, usernames, aliases, profile names, URLs, slugs, or other identifiers assigned to or selected by users within the Platform.
  • The Platform may, at its sole discretion and at any time, modify, reclaim, reassign, restrict, or remove any Platform Identifier, with or without notice. This right applies in particular to identifiers the Platform deems sensitive, reserved, misleading, high-value, or associated with trademarks, institutions, public interest, or risk of impersonation.
  • Longevity of use, prior registration, or user activity does not create any right or entitlement to retain a Platform Identifier.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about its availability, reliability, or suitability for any purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or display a prominent notice on the platform. The updated Terms will take effect on the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
